Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar local storage Tofiko uses and why. We use only essential and functional storage — no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies (and browser localStorage) are small pieces of data stored by your browser. They let a site keep you signed in and remember your preferences. They cannot run programs or carry viruses.

2. What we use

NamePurposeTypeDuration
sb-* (Supabase auth)Keeps you securely signed in to your account.EssentialSession / token lifetime
tf-themeRemembers your dark / light theme choice.FunctionalPersistent (localStorage)
tofiko_cookie_consentRemembers that you have seen this cookie notice.FunctionalPersistent (localStorage)

3. No tracking cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any third-party tracking tools. Because we only use essential and functional storage, these are necessary for the service to work and to honour your preferences.

4. Managing cookies

  • All modern browsers let you view, block and delete cookies and clear localStorage — see your browser’s help pages.
  • Note that blocking the essential authentication storage will stop you being able to sign in.

5. Future changes

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before placing them.
